Ruhter Auction & Realty, Inc. is offering a quality selection of trucks, grain trailers and farm support equipment in the September 2 AuctionTime Equipment Auction. Highlights include three day cab semis, hopper-bottom grain trailers, a forklift and additional farm equipment.

Several items are part of the Squires Bros. retirement near Fairfield, Nebraska, with equipment located at multiple locations. Please review each individual lot for complete specifications, photos and location information before bidding.

DAY CAB TRUCKS
A strong lineup of day cab semis leads this AuctionTime offering. Selling is a 2010 Freightliner Cascadia 125 with 606,000 miles, 475 HP Detroit engine and automatic transmission; a 2006 Freightliner Columbia 120 with 486,300 miles, 460 HP Detroit engine and automatic transmission; and a 1987 Kenworth T800 with 692,816 actual miles, CAT 3406B 465 HP engine and 9-speed Fuller manual transmission.

GRAIN TRAILERS
Two hopper-bottom grain trailers are included in the auction: a 1996 Jet 42′ grain trailer with spring suspension and a 1999 Wilson DWH-400 hopper-bottom grain trailer measuring 43′. See the individual AuctionTime listings for complete specifications and condition information.

FORKLIFT & FARM SUPPORT EQUIPMENT
Also selling is an Allis-Chalmers ACC40PS forklift, LPG powered with a 2,800-lb. load capacity; a custom-made 1,000-gallon fuel tank with Fill-Rite pump; a WEG 7.5 HP motor with 12′ x 6″ auger; and two WEG 15 HP three-phase electric motors.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
 

A 5% buyer’s premium, capped at $1,000 per item, will apply unless otherwise noted. All property is sold “AS IS,” and all sales are final. Bidders understand and acknowledge that they may not be able to inspect items as thoroughly as they could in person. Ultimately, it is the bidder’s responsibility to determine the condition, age, genuineness, value, or other determining factors of each item. 

Ruhter Auction & Realty, Inc. will make every effort to accurately describe each item and provide pertinent information. However, Ruhter Auction & Realty, Inc. will not be responsible for errors or omissions in item descriptions unless there is a material and intentional misrepresentation.

Hour meter and odometer readings reflect what is shown at the time of consignment, but no guarantees are made regarding their accuracy. By bidding, the buyer agrees that all items are sold “AS IS” and acknowledges that no returns will be accepted.

PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS

All items must be paid for by wire transfer within 24 hours of the auction. Ruhter Auction & Realty, Inc. will email invoices and wire transfer instructions to all winning bidders following the auction.

Credit card payments are accepted for purchases under $1,000; however, a 5% fee will apply to all credit card transactions.

TITLE FEES

A $25 title processing fee will be charged to the buyer on all titled items. Titles will be mailed by certified mail. Please allow up to 30 days for delivery.

Ruhter Auction & Realty, Inc. is not responsible for lost titles.

EQUIPMENT REMOVAL

Before removal, all items must be paid for in full and released by Ruhter Auction & Realty, Inc. All items must be removed from the seller’s location within 30 days of the auction. A $25-per-day storage fee will apply to any item not removed within that timeframe—no exceptions.

If the buyer fails to remove an item within 60 days, the item may be resold in the next available AuctionTime auction. All storage fees, handling costs, and commissions associated with removal and resale will be deducted from the final sale price. Any remaining proceeds will then be returned to the buyer who abandoned the item.

Please note that items in this auction are located at multiple locations. Buyers are responsible for reviewing the location of each individual lot and making appropriate pickup arrangements. The Squires Bros. equipment is listed in Fairfield, while the Kenworth is listed in Hastings.

RISK OF LOSS

Once payment is made, ownership transfers to the buyer, who assumes full responsibility for the purchased item, including theft, vandalism, fire, lack of security, accidental loss, and acts of God.

Buyers are responsible for removing all purchases within the required removal period.

LOADING

Loading arrangements will vary based on the location of the purchased item.

For items located at the Ruhter Auction & Realty, Inc. facility in Hastings, Nebraska, loading must be arranged between the buyer and Ruhter Auction & Realty, Inc.

For items located on a seller’s property, loading dates and times must be arranged directly between the buyer and seller. Ruhter Auction & Realty, Inc. will act strictly as a liaison between the parties.

Buyers are responsible for confirming loading requirements before arriving for pickup. Ruhter Auction & Realty, Inc. is not responsible for loading fees that may be charged by a seller.

Certain items may require the buyer to provide their own loading equipment.
