The auction will be conducted at the Lochland Country Club Ballroom, 601 West Lochland Road, Hastings, Nebraska. 1 mile north and ¼ mile west of Hastings.

Manner of Sale: These farms will be offered individually and in combination and will be sold in the manner best suiting the seller.

Farm Location: Both tracts are located ½ mile east of Hansen, Nebraska on Barrows Road. Hansen is located about 5 miles north of Hastings on US Hwy 281 then ½ mile east. There is a seed corn production plant, an ethanol plant as well as a major grain terminal and livestock feeding facilities located near these farms.

Tract #1

Legal Description: Northwest Quarter (NW ¼) of Section Four (4), Township Eight North (T8N), Range Nine West (R9W) of the 6th P.M., Adams County, Nebraska, 155.78 acres more or less.

Description: This is a very nice gravity irrigated farm with 2 irrigation wells and a reuse pit. The main soil type is Hastings silt loam and is in an area known for excellent yields. There is natural gas service to the irrigation wells.

Laser Leveling: In 2011 & 2012 this farm was laser leveled to increase the efficiency of gravity irrigation. The cost of this project was $31,000.

Equipment: Amarillo 80 hp 1:1 ratio gear head, well and pump. Amarillo 100 hp 11:10 ratio gear head well and pump. There is natural gas service to both irrigation wells. The irrigation pipe needed to service this farm is included.

Tract #2

Legal Description: East Half (E ½), Northeast Quarter (NE ¼) and the North Half (N ½), Southeast Quarter (SE ¼) of Section Five (5), Township Eight North (T8N), Range Nine West (R9W) of the 6th P.M., Adams County, Nebraska, 157.95 acres more or less.

Description: This farm is a combination of pivot, gravity and non irrigated farmland. There are approximately 117.17 acres of irrigated cropland with the balance in non irrigated cropland, roads and ditches. The main soil type is Hastings silt loam and is an area known for excellent yields. There is natural gas service to the irrigation well. The gravity irrigated acres are served from a well from Tract #1. If this tract sells individually the new owner has no rights to the use of the irrigation well on Tract #1.

Equipment: 7 tower T-L center pivot, Amarillo 80 hp 11:10 ratio gear head, well and pump. There is natural gas service to the well. The irrigation pipe needed to service this farm is included.

Possession: Full possession for the 2014 crop year will be granted.
