A collection of firearms and sporting goods being offered from the Dean Felker Estate, along with selections from guest consignors. This auction features an impressive lineup of collector firearms and precision rifles, highlighted by a custom BAT Machining .338 Lapua Ackley Improved rifle, a Browning M2 “Ma Deuce,” a Barrett Model 99, a Dan Wesson .44 Magnum revolver, and a highly sought-after Colt Python .357 Magnum. In addition, bidders will find many other desirable and collectible firearms throughout the offering.
Beyond firearms, this auction includes a wide range of ammunition, reloading supplies, and bullet manufacturing equipment, making it an excellent opportunity for shooters, reloaders, and enthusiasts alike. Additional lots feature gun safes, archery equipment, and assorted sporting goods, providing value for collectors and everyday sportsmen.
For buyer convenience, firearms will appear every 5th lot throughout the auction, allowing bidders to plan accordingly.
Please note that a 10% buyer’s premium applies to all lots. Items will continue to be added to the auction, so bidders are encouraged to check back frequently for new listings and updates.
Auction Previews will be offered Thursday, January 22nd from 3:00pm-5:30pm and Saturday, February 7th from 9:30am-12:00pm.
All items are located at Ruhter Auction & Realty, Inc. 2837 West Highway 6, Hastings, Nebraska, and are available for in-person inspection as outlined in the auction terms.
Auction Closing Date
The auction begins closing at 6:00 PM on Monday, February 9, 2026. This auction uses a soft close format.
Buyer’s Premium
A 10% buyer’s premium applies to all auction lots.
Sales Tax
Nebraska sales tax of 5.5% applies to all taxable purchases.
Firearm Purchase Requirements
Buyers must provide a Nebraska Handgun Permit, Concealed Carry Permit, or FFL license.
Out-of-State Buyers and Shipping
Buyers must ship firearms to a local FFL unless they choose local pickup.
Email a copy of the FFL license to auctions@ruhterauction.com before pickup or shipping.
Auction Conditions
Each firearm purchase includes a $25 transfer fee per firearm. We waive the transfer fee for local pickup.
Buyers must be 18 years old to purchase long gun ammunition.
Buyers must be 21 years old to purchase handgun ammunition.
All property sells “AS IS,” and all sales are final. Bidders inspect items and determine condition, age, and value before bidding. Ruhter Auction & Realty, Inc. may describe items but does not guarantee accuracy. We do not offer warranties of merchantability or fitness for any purpose. Each bidder acts as the sole judge of value.
Offsite bidders accept limited inspection opportunities. We do not accept responsibility for non-material description errors. Buyers may not return purchased items.
After a successful bid, responsibility transfers immediately to the buyer. We release possession after confirming full payment.
We assume no liability for internet failures or missed bids. Ruhter Auction & Realty, Inc. reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items.
Nebraska sales tax applies unless buyers submit Form 13 at registration.
Shipping Terms
Buyers pay all shipping and handling fees. Some firearms may not comply with local or state laws. If legal transfer fails, we resell the firearm at a future absolute auction. The resale includes a 25% commission.
We ship firearms and ammunition through USPS or UPS Ground. We do not ship primers or gun powder.
Payment Terms
Buyers may pay with cash, check, or certified funds. Credit card payments include a 5% administrative fee.
