Clay County farm brings $12,000 an acre

AUCTION PRICE MAY BE RECORD IN STATE

A 160-acre farm in Clay Center sold for $12,000 per acre at auction Monday morning, a price Ruhter Auction president Randy Ruhter believes is the highest per acre amount ever fetched for Nebraska farmland.
